Stage week-end - la Voile pour tous

Many of you have never sailed before and would like to get your first taste of how a cruising sailboat works and what life is like at sea, while others have very specific and more technical requirements (maneuvers, cartography, etc.).

We have a magnificent, sheltered stretch of water between the islands of Ré, Aix and Oléron, ideal for satisfying these requirements. We offer two- or three-day courses, with the option of sailing to the small ports of Saint-Martin, Saint Denis, Boyard ville or up the Charente to Rochefort. So that Fabienne can devote her time to each participant at his or her own pace and level, there will never be more than 5 participants aboard Kirikou.

To each his or her own rhythm: Fabienne, your supervisor, is always ready to listen to everyone's wishes and limits, and will make it a point of honor to welcome you, teach you, calm you and be patient with you. She will be delighted to answer any questions you may have.
During your course, you'll learn about safety, maneuvering the ship, sail trimming, buoy tending, etc. For those who come to improve their skills, this will be an opportunity to get to grips with the chart table and brush up on tide calculations.
Embarkation takes place at the old port of La Rochelle at around 9:30 am (although you can spend the previous night on board if you wish), and the course ends at around 5:30 pm, after the boat has been cleaned (by the whole crew, who share the various tasks: provisioning, meals, etc.).
You'll disembark at La Rochelle's old port with extraordinary memories and the desire to repeat the experience.
