Show - La Rochelle Fashion Show 4

Making catwalk outfits out of chocolate, candles or wood? Hugo Guérin and Christophe Latour, both co-organizers of La Rochelle Fashion Show 4, have set this crazy challenge to designers from the Poitou-Charentes region. In July 2022, for the first edition, as well as in January 2023 for the second and January 2024 for the third, mannequins donned feather and plant garments made by local artists.

"Fashion is for everyone".
Hugo Guérin had no intention of parading 1.80m models in size 36. The mixed models who will wear the creations of this fourth edition will represent all ages and morphologies. A way for the public to identify with them, because, in his words, "fashion is for everyone".

Our artisans will be working their own materials in totally different forms. It's quite a challenge for these artists, most of whom have never been close to the fashion world. Hugo Guérin is certain: "It's going to be grandiose".

Inspired by Fashion Week, which has been established internationally for years, La Rochelle will also have its own event this first weekend in January 2025.

LA ROCHELLE FASHION SHOW 4 in figures:
An audience of over 600 people over 2 days, some twenty designers who have put in thousands of hours of work, models of all ages to enhance their creations, a staff of some sixty people; and a legendary venue under its ancestral vaults, the Oratoire de La Rochelle.
