IMMERSE YOURSELF IN A MUSICAL, HISTORICAL AND TOURIST FANTASY TOLD AND SUNG BY JEAN-MARC DESBOIS

A show :

Jean-Marc Desbois has decided to extend his concept of "Musical, Historical and Tourist Fantasy" to the whole of Charente-Maritime. He takes us into his world, supported by musicians of remarkable instrumental mastery.
He intersperses his recital with brief histories of our department, alternating them with covers of French songs.
Jean-Marc Desbois offers us a musical interlude full of revelations, in a concert punctuated by the voice of a surprisingly passionate man.

About Jean-Marc Desbois :

Jean-Marc Desbois was born in La Rochelle (Poitou-Charentes) into a modest family, his father a controller at the Régie des Autobus de la Ville and his mother raising five children (one girl and four boys). He went to the Notre-Dame school in La Rochelle, where he first sang in the choir of the Fédération Française des Petits Chanteurs.
After several attempts at learning an instrument, it was classical guitar that became his real passion. He studied guitar for ten years with Claude Foray, then oboe teacher at the La Rochelle conservatory.
Still at the La Rochelle conservatory, he studied classical singing with Jeannette Jourde and Hervé Caresmel, not forgetting Nadine Normand, his current coach.
But the demon of song was watching over him, and it was when he discovered some of the greats on television (notably JACQUES BREL) that things clicked.
Rigor of execution and stage presence were the first weapons of her success, and her warm, deep voice marries poetry and irony, charm and conviction, variety and tradition.
