Exhibition - Arrière-cuisine

With "Arrière-cuisine", l'Atelier Bletterie returns to the roots of sharing and invites you to enter a space often hidden from view: the scullery, where an essential solitude is at work.
In the scullery, the usual gallery perspective is reversed. Here, the work is still in progress, on the verge of blossoming or obsolete. The completed act is succeeded by the act to be completed, in progress or abandoned. Gesture, the basis of creative intuition, plays a key role here. Here, gesture permeates every fragment.
The back kitchen allows us to take a look at the act itself, to savour its potential, sometimes still in nuce. Research in progress, tracks barely begun, nanometric germs, seeds at the edge of the visible, or faded flowers, putrescent and forgotten fruits. In all cases: either premises that have barely taken root and are already dreaming of greatness, or remnants that are crumbling in the shadows.
So many attempts that lay bare the creative process and invite us to discover an immobile universe that could, at a moment's notice, get moving again.
