Concert - Zac Harmon

A native of Jackson, Mississippi, Zac Harmon is a talented guitarist, singer and songwriter, recognized as one of the great inheritors of modern blues. Born into a family steeped in music, he was inspired by local legends such as Elmore James, as well as the iconic artists his father, a pharmacist, frequented, such as B.B. King and Muddy Waters.

After an early start at 16, playing with Sam Myers, he moved to Los Angeles, where he became a sought-after songwriter and producer, collaborating with Michael Jackson, The Whispers and Black Uhuru.
In 2003, Harmon returned to the blues with Live at Babe & Ricky's Inn. His subsequent albums, notably The Blues According to Zacariah (2005) and As Long As I Got My Guitar (2022), earned him prestigious awards, including the Blues Music Award for Best New Artist and Best Soul Blues Album.
On stage, he blends blues, gospel, soul and reggae with irresistible energy, captivating audiences the world over. With historic performances such as at the Pyramids of Egypt, Zac Harmon continues to embody the vibrant soul of American blues.
