Manudigital is an iconic beatmaker, bassist and music producer on the international reggae/dub scene. He began his musical career as a bassist for various groups, including Babylon Circus, before concentrating on production and creating a hybrid music tinged with his multiple musical influences, from reggae and its sub-genres to electro/bass music, jungle and drum & bass.
Since his solo debut, the author of the albums "Digital Pixel" (2016) and "Bass Attack" (2018) has also released a plethora of EPs and collaborative projects, giving him the opportunity to surround himself with artists from the four corners of the globe such as Alborosie, L'Entourloop, Alo Wala, Skarra Mucci, Liam Bailey and Soom T, to name but a few.
With over 800 concerts worldwide, Manudigital is also known for his live performances, where his talents as a bassist and beatmaker offer a unique musical experience. Today, he is considered one of the most influential producers on the international reggae scene. His 2019 tour earned him a place in the top 10 of the Export Bureau's Palmarès Live Export.
Returning in 2023, he has created a new formula and is aiming high. He returned in the spring with the single "Step Up Ft. Joseph Cotton & Bellyman", taken from his eponymous album due out at the end of the year, on which he pushes the fusion of reggae and bass music even further, while experimenting with new rhythms, sometimes Afrobeat, sometimes baile funk, always with his characteristic mastery. By exploring new genres, he leaves room for what he prefers: collaboration. So it's only logical that "France's most international reggae producer" should invite no fewer than 17 artists from all horizons (Alborosie, Alo Wala, Liam Bailey, Skarra Mucci, Dynamq, Afu-Ra, Million Stylez...) to lend their voices to the Frenchman's audacious productions and add to an address book already worth its weight in gold. 2024 is set to be another memorable year for Manudigital, who kicks off the "Next Step Tour" accompanied by his Mc Dapatch. Their show will be as explosive as ever, oscillating between reggae, dub and jungle.
Les Frères Jackfruit
DJ and producer Les Frères Jackfruit have been scouring the record shelves and stages for over 10 years now, with an unshakeable conviction: music knows no boundaries.
After having officially remixed Flavia Coelho and the Tuareg blues band TisDass, they are now spreading their tropical-plural, electronized and stirring musical universe!
Their 2nd EP, "Souss System", produced in collaboration with Amazigh artists from Morocco, was released in 2022, followed by the 3rd EP, "Souss System Remix", due out in 2023 on Marakuja Records.
