The Collectif Paris Swing, founded in 2017, has in just a few months become the benchmark for swing music in Paris with the crème de la crème of musicians on the Paris jazz scene. In just a few months, Collectif Paris Swing has forged a solid reputation by rocking Parisian clubs like Caveau de la Huchette, Bellevilloise and Bal Blomet. On the program: the stride of Fats Waller, the flights of Sidney Bechet and Benny Goodman, not forgetting Glenn Miller and Louis Armstrong. We breathe in the influence and carefree spirit of the Roaring Twenties, when Charleston and Black Bottom cared little for the Great Depression and Prohibition was coming to an end. A festive evening of syncopation, rhythm and improvisation.
