Trumpeter and singer Bria Skonberg is considered the most eclectic and talented of her generation.
Born in Canada and living in New York, she has been a featured artist at festivals all over the world: Newport, New Orleans, Kobé, Monterrey, Ascona and Montreal.
Named "Hot Jazz's Sparkling Hope" by the New York Times, Bria has been at the forefront of the Classical Jazz renaissance as a performer and teacher.
She is known for her inventive arrangements of traditional jazz repertoire, ingenious interpretations of contemporary classics and original compositions imbued with deep authenticity and remarkable dynamism.
Bria has played with many musicians on the New York scene, as well as with numerous soloists who have appeared in La Rochelle over the years.
