Exhibition - Par le vent soufflent misères et merveilles - Barbara Kairos

Made from animal skin glue and tinted with vegetable skins and dye plants from the old Chapelle des Dames Blanches cemetery, the apparently solid ensemble remains unstable and ephemeral. A sculptural proposition that evokes the city's commercial period as it opened up to a new world, where junk and preciousness implicitly resonate with the worst of trade.
