The Pinetops is a recent formation, created in 2023 around multi-instrumentalist Thibaut Chopin, bassist/counter bassist for big names such as Lazy Lester, Al Copley, Benoît Blue Boy and a host of other artists.
He took advantage of his move to Brittany to gather around him some old friends who are among the finest in French blues. These three highly experienced musicians provide Thibaut with unfailing support, allowing him to operate freely on vocals, guitar and harmonica, with his own compositions for a repertoire that takes a personal approach to exotic Rhythm and Blues, oscillating between Rock and Roll, Boogaloo and down-home Blues.Les Pinetops took part in the 2023 edition of Cognac Blues Passion, and an album will be recorded in spring 2024.Welcome to the West!
