A lion, a panda, an elephant... very exotic animals for the region, but very useful for finding your way around the beach! Choose your own and show it to the kids so they don't stray too far from it.

FREE FITNESS CLASSES ON THE SAND
From Monday to Friday, sports instructor Valérie invites you to join her for 1h30 of gym and fitness classes on the beach! Bring your towel until mid-September and off you go! Monday to Friday, 11 a.m., on the beach opposite Rue du Marché

Ball enthusiasts can try their hand at beach rugby or beach volleyball; aspiring sailors can try their hand at Stand-up Paddle, Polynesian pirogue, kite surfing or catamaran sailing; jogging enthusiasts can enjoy the sunset... The beach and ocean are the ideal playground.

Where to swim
Bathing area marked by yellow buoys 300 m out to sea. Outside this zone, swimming is no longer safe for nautical activities.

When is bathing permitted?
Swimming is supervised from 2 lifeguard posts on Châtelaillon's main beach, every day from July 1 to August 31, from 11am to 7pm.

Nautical activities
Not permitted in the bathing area. To the south of the grande plage, a channel allows boats to be launched for access beyond the bathing area.

Bathing water quality
The commune is committed to a program of action to guarantee good bathing water quality at all its sites.

Animals
For reasons of hygiene, pets are not allowed on the beaches between May 01 and October 31. During this period, horseback riding on the beach is also prohibited.
