The "Deuils en famille; orphelins d'un parent" conference will be held at Espace Encan.
Organized by Vivre Son Deuil Poitou-Charentes in partnership with a number of players, including the "La vie, la mort... On en parle?" program, it aims to open up a wide field of reflection and action by raising awareness of the situation of orphans and families faced with the death of a loved one.
Bringing together, raising awareness, attracting interest, initiating and supporting...
The aims of this congress are to :
Understand what our cultures owe to orphans and their creative universe, to their ability to invest in society and contribute to social ties.
Understand why societies have "made them invisible".
Take stock of knowledge and research in anthropology, sociology, philosophy, psychology, literature, the arts, etc. Gain a better understanding of the psychological dimension of death and spirituality in the mourning of children, orphans and their families.
Reflect on the educational and cognitive particularities of orphaned children and the social and medical-psychological support that can be offered to them, individually, to their families or in peer groups. One day will be devoted to professionals from the French Ministry of Education, psychology research and practitioners working with these young orphans.
Take stock of the social, legal, economic, sociological and psychological needs of these youngsters and their families, as well as the various existing responses offered by the associations and institutions present in our region. We hope to encourage meetings between partners, associations, families and civil society... Free admission will be offered on Saturday for this occasion.
